GEO-POWER-EU Project Findings Presented at British Association for Slavonic and East European Studies Annual Conference (BASEES) in the United Kingdom

Prof. Olga Brusylovska, Head of the Department of International Relations at Odesa I.I. Mechnikov National University and GEO-POWER-EU researcher, took part in the BASEES 2026 Annual Conference hosted by the University of Birmingham and the University of Edinburgh, held from 9–24 April.

The conference provided a platform to discuss current political and social developments across Europe and Eurasia. Professor Brusylovska presented the objectives and preliminary findings of the GEO-POWER-EU project, among the project outputs highlighted was the deliverable ‘The Relevance of the Eastern Partnership (EaP)”, which examines the framework’s continued importance in the EU’s engagement with its eastern neighbours amid evolving geopolitical challenges.
