Upcoming Event | Moldova and Ukraine on the EU accession path amid war and uncertainty

GEO-POWER-EU will hold a public conference titled “Moldova and Ukraine on the EU accession path amid war and uncertainty” on 3 June 2026, from 9:15 to 11:30 CET in Chișinău, Moldova, organized by the GEO-POWER-EU consortium partner, Institute for Development and Social Initiatives (IDIS) “Viitorul”.

The conference will focus on Moldova and Ukraine’s EU accession path amid war and uncertainty, exploring the geopolitical challenges and reform efforts shaping both countries’ European futures. The event will open with a keynote speech by Valeriu Mija, State Secretary at Moldova’s Foreign Affairs Ministry, followed by a panel discussion bringing together leading experts and practitioners from Moldova, Ukraine, Romania, and across Europe.
