Dr. Valery Perry (GEO-POWER-EU Researcher  and Senior Associate at the Democratization Policy Council) joined Connections with Evan Dawson for a discussion examining what policymakers can learn from past peace processes.

Using the thirtieth anniversary of the 1995 Dayton Peace Agreement as a point of reflection, the conversation explored both the accomplishments and the enduring deficiencies of the accord that ended the Bosnian war. During the discussion, Dr. Perry highlighted how Bosnia’s experience can offer valuable lessons for resolving contemporary conflicts, including Russia’s war against Ukraine and the war in Gaza.
