GEO-POWER-EU Researcher Kakha Gogolashvili participates at the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Summit 2025
Kakha Gogolashvili, Director of EU Studies at the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies and GEO-POWER-EU researcher, participated in the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Summit 2025 held on 2–4 December.
The Summit brought together over 250 civil society representatives and decision-makers from the EU and Eastern Partnership countries. The Forum serves as a key platform for advancing democratic reforms, reinforcing societal resilience, and ensuring that civil society remains central to policy development in a challenging geopolitical environment.
Kakha Gogolashvili contributed to a panel discussion on security and regional connectivity in the Black Sea and Eastern Partnership space, focusing on the EU’s strategic approach to strengthening resilience, countering hybrid threats, and deepening cooperation between civil society and policymakers. In particular, he underscored Georgia’s perspective on Black Sea security and the strategic value of deeper integration with EU policies and instruments.
