New GEO-POWER-EU Index: Assessing Vulnerability to External Influence Across the Western Balkans and Eastern Partnership Regions

GEO-POWER-EU consortium is pleased to announce the launch of the Exposure Risk Index,  a new tool that measures how vulnerable countries are to harmful or manipulative external influence.

Covering the nine countries of the Western Balkans (WB6) and Eastern Partnership (EaP3) regions, the index is scored from 0 to 100 and assesses internal weaknesses across four dimensions: political, security, economic, and societal.

The index is built on expert panel assessments using a standardised methodology, and scores are grouped into five risk levels ranging from Very Low (0–20) to Very High (81–100).
