The sixth session of the GEO-POWER-EU Talks podcast examines how disinformation shapes political debates in the EU’s neighbourhood and candidate countries. The episode draws on two GEO-POWER-EU reports on foreign influence in the Western Balkans and Associated Trio and anti-European disinformation in Ukraine.

Hosted by Samuel Doveri Vesterbye (Managing Director, European Neighbourhood Council), the discussion brings together Anamarija Velinovska (Head of the Centre for EU Integration and Senior Researcher at the Institute for Democracy “Societas Civilis” – Skopje) and Yuliia Tarasiuk (Lecturer at Odesa I.I. Mechnikov National University), who reflect on disinformation trends across the Western Balkans and the Eastern Partnership, including Ukraine’s experience in countering disinformation during full-scale war.
